🪲 Bugs & issues
If you stumble upon any bugs or notice something that’s not quite up to par with the regular app, drop a message in this thread. Got a screenshot? Even better! Sharing those will help our tech team tackle the issues faster and get things running smoothly again.

First bug: two paid pulses this morning, both result in “sorry something went wrong” and disappeared. So, I’m guessing paid pulses don’t work in the new app. Kinda wishing I didn’t bother volunteering already…

Rob Myers can you confirm this was from a notification? If so, fear not you didn't miss out on a paid Pulse, it is just the messaging heading that needs improving. If you read the small copy in the message it will say the Pulse is full. We are working on the message.Â

Rob Myers ok we will take a look at what has been sent to you. I'll get back to you

Another couple of issues:
- there’s no channels tab on the beta (deliberate?)
- sometimes when you refresh the feed nothing loads. If you switch to profile or activity then switch back, pulses will then load into the feed0 -
Hi Rob, yes removal of channels is deliberate, there should be a reduced list of channels accessible from your profile. The profile will also be redesigned shortly and we are rethinking channels.
I'll log your other issue about the Pulse refresh. Thanks!

I’ve not noticed any issues as yet, but on the old app, I would occasionally get a non paid pulse that wouldn’t let me click on it, and it would stay on my feed for weeks and then eventually disappear. Not a major issue but I thought I’d just mention it.

The queue system doesn’t work. Went into a queue advanced to enter pulse and then it put me back into the queue again and wouldn’t advance.

The leaderboard doesn’t seem to work. It gets stuck loading and never actually does

Ok, both logged. Thank you

Another issue: just got a paid pulse, hit the notification and nothing happened. It didn’t load or give me an error message, just nothing. Since the latest beta updates, any paid pulse that I’ve had has failed in one way or another.

Two more issues:
- sometimes there are prequalification questions. The beta makes you do them twice before getting access to a paid pulse
- if you’re in the app and have accessed a pulse and then get a paid pulse notification it’s impossible to access the paid pulse as you’re stuck in what you’re doing (the notification is only in the app in the beta). As previously reported, not all pulses load into the feed, so if this happens you lose the pulse1 -
Sorry I’ve not been so active in reporting issues - I have a family issue that is taking a lot of my time. I have been dipping into the new app and on the whole I love it. However, I too, have noticed where the qualification questions have been asked twice, also I’ve had a few paid pulses that I’ve clicked on as soon as I get the notification and they haven’t loaded. One of those was today. On the whole, though, I love the new feel
To the app.0 -
Rob, please can you clarify this: if you’re in the app and have accessed a pulse and then get a paid pulse notification it’s impossible to access the paid pulse as you’re stuck in what you’re doing (the notification is only in the app in the beta).
Do you mean the in-app "You have a paid Pulse" notification that appears over the top of the app is appearing while you are answering a Pulse?Â
If you can get a screenshot that would be helpful- I realise this may be tricky though.Â0 -
Hi Anna, Yes - exactly that. I was already answering a pulse and while doing that a paid pulse came in. The notification appeared over the top of the pulse I was in and there was no separate out of app notification (there used to be). When I tried to go into the paid pulse it did nothing except clear the notification completely and allow me to finish the pulse I was in. Hope that makes sense!

I’ve just completed a paid pulse and clicked for the screen to take me back to the pulses screen. However it just hung there and froze.

Just done a pulse about travel insurance. It asked if I buy it and I replied that I do. Then I answered the next question about who I buy it for. Then the last question asked “why don’t I buy travel insurance?” I’ve already answered that I do buy it.

Rob Myers please take a look at this https://youtube.com/shorts/Sp9kF0cWTKA , is it what you're seeing? We are a bit puzzled by this one, we had to turn something off to replicate it....

Hi Anna, I can’t view the video. It tells me it’s private.

Sorry, try now

Yes, that’s exactly what I got (I don’t get that many paid pulses in my feed all at the same time, though!). In the old app, there was also an external app notification that it was possible to access after clearing the pulse you were already in.

Also Rob Myers what are your notification settings? All or paid only

Paid only

Rob Myers Could you check your notification Settings for OnePulse are set to enabled? Go to settings, search for OnePulse, and check Notifications, they should be enabled

Hi Anna, Yes, all notifications are enabled. I get notifications as normal when I’m not in the app, but if I happen to be in the app when a notification comes through it only shows as an in app notification.

Hello, you can now access this forum from the app by going to your profile and tapping "Give feedback"

Since the latest update, I think that XP is slower to credit or not crediting at all. I don’t think the last paid pulse I did credited either.

I have just completed a paid pulse about donating blood plasma and didn’t get paid for it.

@Rachel Same for me. That’s the second paid pulse I’ve done today which hasn’t credited.
I’d say that XP is crediting maybe every three or four pulses completed

Ok, thank you. We are looking into it as a matter of urgency.
